وَلَا تُجَـٰدِلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَقُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَـٰهُنَا وَإِلَـٰهُكُمْ وَٰحِدٌۭ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ
"Do not argue with the People of the Book unless gracefully, except with those of them who act wrongfully. And say, 'We believe in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to you. Our God and your God is ˹only˺ One. And to Him we ˹fully˺ submit.'"
Muslims now accuse the Bible of having been corrupted. Who did it and When?
نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنزَلَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ
"He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel... Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ 'O People of the Book! You have nothing to stand on unless you observe the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord.'"
وَلْيَحْكُمْ أَهْلُ ٱلْإِنجِيلِ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ
"So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the rebellious."
فَإِن كُنتَ فِى شَكٍّۢ مِّمَّآ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ فَسْـَٔلِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقْرَءُونَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلِكَ
"If you ˹O Prophet˺ are in doubt about ˹these stories˺ that We have revealed to you, then ask those who read the Scripture before you... The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice. None can change His Words."
According to Mohammed, the answer is NO. Here is the strict logical breakdown.
Christians are COMMANDED to judge by what Allah revealed (Surah 5:46-47). What did Allah reveal before Mohammed? The Torah and the Gospel.
If Mohammed told Christians to judge by the Torah and the Gospel while knowing they had been corrupted, then Mohammed was telling Christians to do the wrong thing. Therefore, Mohammed would be a false prophet.
If the Torah and Gospels are what Mohammed claimed they were (Revelation from Allah), then every Muslim must use the Torah and the Gospel to judge the Koran.
If the Koran does not align or confirm what the Torah and the Gospel proclaimed, then the Koran is false & Mohammed is a false prophet who thought he had the same message.
The Torah and the Gospel cannot be the same message as the Koran because they contradict each other on very major Christian teachings:
Furthermore, the New Testament was written in Greek within eyewitness lifetimes (Mark c. 66–70 AD, Matthew/Luke c. 85–90 AD, John c. 90–110 AD), and the Old Testament was translated into Greek (Septuagint) around 300–200 BC—centuries before the Koran emerged around 600 AD.
If what the Koran says is true (Surah 5:46-47 and 10:94), THEN the Koran is FALSE and Mohammed was (is) a FALSE prophet ( see #1 & #2 above).
Confidence Does Not Equal Competence

"Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
